Readily I accept my place,
In this world, or the next.
Wherever I may find myself,
I must try to find where I am,
Where I am the truest version of myself.
The Devil will tempt you,
With that which you will take,
As is your choice
As is your freedom to choose.
The Devil can give but takes nothing for his own.
He does not take,
Anything that is not,
Freely given.
Even that which is promised,
Must be given.
But be warned.
The Devil will wait,
An eternity is nothing,
Compared to the void
Within an empty promise.
Live within this at your peril,
Lest it’s eternity damn ye less.
Than that of an eternity,
With the Devil himself.
