The Month of Transition – November 2021
November is often associated with preparation. Animals stocking up supplies for Winter, farmers and gardeners bringing in the last of the harvests for the year and storing them for the colder months. Autumn is now in full swing and it is the season to take stock and take care; to consider your preparations, plans and provisions for the next phase of your journey. It is a liminal place within the year where anything can happen, but, going forward means certain steps backward are gone.
We can change so much over a year; even when we think we are doing little still we take in that which makes us stronger and wiser. November to me is the beginning of the reflective season that Winter brings, but for now we continue to enjoy the Autumnal transition which reminds us of Summer while handing us over to Winter’s care.
Today’s word was suggested by “KM and DH”. It is for you, the Friends of #FoDiByLi, that I hope to provide even just a spark of inspiration. Thank you for your suggestions, your feedback and your encouragement to continue.
