Race for the Crown 2024

Didn’t get a chance to join the Race for the Crown 2024 Poetry Marathon on January 6th? Not to worry, the marathon may be over, but the race is still being run. As of yet no-one has claimed the ‘first finisher’ title this year, but several are on the way there already and it’s only a matter of time. For the rest of this month anyone who sends sends in their work to be verified as an event winner will be given a certificate commemorating the achievement, but will also be able to submit their work for publication later in the year.

Remember, at Forever Distracted By Life we know there are many reasons not to do something, but it is about participation, not perfection and with practice, patience and pride in yourself, the act of creation is more than enough.

And, if you didn’t already get a chance to listen to the live music performances by Paul James which went out live along with the prompts during our marathon, give them a listen now. They are all available on the Forever Distracted By Life YouTube channel.
