I stood. Looking over from one side to the other. The grass was green beneath my feet. I had no desire to cross. The ground beneath me seemed as unstable as my mind. Should I find the other side prosperous, or spend my time awaiting the moment in which I can return. #FoDiByLi

Dribble to Drabble (50 – 100 words)

Desire is seeing the opposite bank of a river and knowing that crossing will lead to prosperity. Reacting is swimming to the other side and being too cold and wet to enjoy all that you have gained. Learning is building a boat which carries you across, but not having enough space within to carry your prosperous gains with you on return. Accepting is living upon the new bank and wistfully looking across to where you have come from. Wisdom is building a bridge and crossing at your leisure, living life fully between where you are and where you have been.
