Free Verse – 2023 My Lessons Learned
Procrastination is often my downfall and my muse.
Conflict is just a part of my internal nature.
Devotion is as much a duty as a desire.
Exhaustion and eternal state of being far beyond tired.
Humbling, the chance to be creator and source of inspiration.
Reflection, a daily practice that I never seem to remember.
Balance, a constant battle from which I slip from side to side.
Regrowth of old habits which I thought had died.
Kindness, a mercy which I never seem to show myself.
Recovery takes time, but it is worth taking time to rest.
Perseverance is knowing when to push, and when to push aside.
